Blue Giraffe Nursery is an exciting new childcare setting near Wendell Park, West London. Offering children from 6 months to 5 years a rich and stimulating environment, the nursery’s aim is to help each and every child learn and build confidence through play, within relaxed and friendly surroundings.

The building opened in October 2008, after a complete renovation of the premises.  Each area of the nursery, divided by age range, has dedicated areas for science, wet play, creative and arts, role play, literacy and maths, plus quiet time. These areas have been carefully planned to provide a broad and balanced curriculum. For instance, there is a construction area, special interest tables and even a fully equipped child size kitchen and market stall. 

For the very young, we provide a dedicated room with excellent facilities for sleeping, nappy changing and feeding, including a glider chair which is available for carers to give milk feeds and those mums who wish to still be a part of their child’s feeding routine throughout the day.

Two newly resurfaced soft, secure outdoor play areas are also available for children to use throughout the day.

The three main teaching areas are:
• Baby Room (6 months -  2 years)
• Toddler Room (2 - 3 years)
• Preschool (3 - 5 years)

The nursery is open 51 weeks a year from 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday, closing for Bank Holiday and Christmas.
